Teenagers being chased by police hit an ambulance in a horror smash leaving five dead.
A group of four youths in Nizhny Tagil, Russia stole a Hyundai Accent and tried escaping traffic cops by speeding from them at over 100mph in the early hours of Monday morning.
Tragedy struck when the teens ignored a red light and careered into an ambulance, killing themselves and a paramedic as well as injuring another two people at the scene,

According to the authorities, the crash occurred at the junction of Gazetnaya and Oktyabrskaya at around 3am local time (midnight GMT).
Valery Gorelykh, a spokesman for the regional head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, said: "As a result of a strong blow, a passenger of a Gazelle – a female paramedic – as well as a driver and three passengers of Hyundai died from injuries.
"Two more people – a passenger of a foreign car, according to preliminary data, born in 2003, and an ambulance crew driver were hospitalized."
One of the vehicles involved burst into flames at the scene following the fatal collision.

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of the accident.
At the end of last month a horror bus crash killed 18 people and injured 34 more as witnesses saw passengers hanging out of windows.
The vehicle rolled onto its side after smashing into two cars in at La Cucamonga hill, Nicaragua on its way to the United States.
