A man has been charged with the murder of two of his children and the attempted murder of a third child.
Jordan Monaghan has also been charged with the murder of his girlfriend.
The 29-year-old, of Blackburn, Lancashire, is accused of killing three-week-old daughter Ruby in January 2013 and his 21-month-old son Logan in August, 2013.
He is also suspected of killing his partner Evie Adams, 23, in October 2019. She was not the mother of the children.
Monaghan has also been charged with two counts of attempted murder of a third child in September and October 2016, as well as two counts of cruelty towards the same child in the same time period.

The surviving child cannot be named for legal reasons. All of the alleged offences were said to have been committed at addresses in Blackburn.
Monaghan has yet to enter any formal pleas but his defence lawyer told the court: "All these charges are firmly denied by him."
He will appear at Preston Crown Court on Thursday, January 21, where a date will be set for him to stand trial.
The charges follow a complex and lengthy enquiry by Lancashire Constabulary's Force Major Investigation Team (FMIT) and come after consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.
Inquests had been held into the deaths of the two children at Blackburn Coroner's Court in 2013.
Ruby and Logan were the children of Monaghan and his former fiancée Laura Gray.
At the time Ms Gray said: "We'd like to say a big thank you to all the family for all the support and help. We're a close family. We've got great family support, they're helping us to get through it.
"We're all absolutely distraught, absolutely devastated. We're all shocked, we can't believe it. He was beautiful, a little monkey, so mischievous. We strongly miss him and he will never be forgotten."
At the inquest the coroner had said: "I can't begin to imagine the loss of a child and certainly one as young and as precious as Ruby."
