Denver has finally cooled off, bringing lower temperatures to town.
According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver has a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon on Thursday, with a forecasted high of 83 degrees.
Most of the rain should fall south of the Interstate 70 corridor. The biggest threat with these storms will be heavy rainfall, but the threat of flash floods will be limited.
Denver will drop to 60 degrees Thursday night.
Friday will be more of the same, with a high of 83 degrees and a 30% chance of showers. Temperatures will dip into the 50s overnight as the chance of storms builds to 40% with near 20 mph wind.
Again on Saturday, the high will be 83 degrees. There’s a 10% chance of storms. Nighttime temperatures will reach the 50s.
