Elon Musk says hes already lost 20lbs since unhealthy topless boat pics

Elon Musk has revealed that he’s already lost 20lbs (9kg) since the infamous picture of him topless on a boat was released.

Images of Musk looking out of shape on board a yacht in Mykonos, Greece, caused a stir only months ago but the Tesla CEO claims to have made positive changes since then.

Musk received substantial amounts of fat-shaming abuse and despite his fans defending him, the SpaceX founder seems to have taken the matter seriously.

He said on Sunday that he had been “fasting periodically” and, on the advice of a “good friend” had managed to shed the pounds at a remarkable rate.

He said he had used a specific app to help him with his weight loss putting out a Tweet saying “the Zero fasting app is quite good”.

In response to a question from trading platform founder Sven Henrich, Musk shared that he had lost “over 20 lbs down from my (unhealthy) peak weight”.

Intermittent fasting, which Musk appears to have used, is a method of weight loss where you fast for certain periods of time and eat during others.
