Princess Eugenie will do all she can to heal the supposed rift between Prince Harry and Prince William, a royal expert believes.
While the Sussexes have been heavily critical of the Royal Family since their move to the United States, Eugenie has reportedly remained on good terms with Harry and royal fans hope that she could help in repairing the rift.
She was supposedly the first member of the royals to meet Meghan Markle when she started going out with Harry and then when the Sussexes moved to California she and her partner Jack Brooksbank moved into their Frogmore Cottage home.
At the same time she is also good pals with William and so she is ready to go “all-out” to help the brothers heal their differences, said royal insider Dickie Arbiter.
But he also pointed out that there is a lot of work to do.
He told Australia’s Today programme: "Eugenie has got an incredibly good relationship with Harry.
"She has a really good relationship with William as well, but she is more of Harry's age though she is sort of five years younger than Harry.
"But they have always had a very close bond.
"And yes it will be upsetting to the family the rift, and if she feels she can do something to heal the rift then she is going to go all out to do it."
Harry and Meghan have made several interviews in the US where they have attacked the royal way of life.
The Sussexes spoke to Oprah Winfrey where Harry said that he didn’t want his children to grow up in the environment that he did and under the media spotlight while Meghan also alleged that one of the Windsors asked her what colour skin her first child would have when she was pregnant.
Dickie believes that these deep-lying criticisms will mean that it will be a tough challenge for Eugenie to get both sides talking and it would take more than just her efforts.
"It is going to take a lot more than Eugenie," he said
"Because there are other members of the family. You have to remember that Harry has rubbished his father saying he was cut-off but he wasn't got off financially.
"He has kind of rubbished his brother, by implication he has rubbished his granny, so there is a lot of work to do. I don't think Eugenie can do it by herself."
Arbiter concluded: "But if she can all power to her."
Fellow royal commentator, Phil Dampier, also believes relations between the brothers are so bad that even Eugenie can't fix it.
He told the Sun Online: “I personally don’t think there’s much Eugenie can do at the moment to heal the rift.
"I think the rift is too deep for her to play a major role in healing it.
"I don’t think there is much chance of a reconciliation between anyone at the moment and I wouldn’t have thought Eugenie is in a position to [help] – even though she is matey with [the Sussexes]."
