A woman has gone viral on social media after claiming she has ‘evidence’ that she is Madeleine McCann.
Now she says that neither the police nor the family who raised her will talk about her astonishing suspicions.
Daily Star reported this week that the young woman identified only as Julia took to Instagram and TikTok to make unsubstantiated claims that she is Kate and Gerry McCann’s missing child.

The toddler disappeared from her bed in a holiday apartment in Portugal on May 3, 2007 – she was three years old at the time and would be 19 now.
21-year-old from Poland claims she isn’t sure of her real identity or age but says she has similar marks on her body to Madeleine.
In the video on her Instagram, Julia showed the marks which she says match the missing girls.
She also told how her suspicions they are the same person were only raised a few months ago after she tried, and failed, to get a copy of her birth certificate.
Her Instagram, @iammadeleinemcan, bio reads: “Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann I think I can be Madeleine. I need a DNA test. Police investigators from UK and Poland try to ignore me. I will tell my story in posts here. Help me.”

She claims that Polish authorities have told her that they will not be investigating her claims.
In an interview with The Tab, Julia said: “I called my local police, Capital city police, the MET police, Portugal police and Crimestoppers. A few months ago I talked with Operation Grange, too.
“[My] mother didn’t want to talk about it, she said the past is in the past and she is not going to talk about the past. She said now is the future and we should focus on the future. My dad said, ‘even if I am not your father will it change anything?'”.

The young woman has faced backlash since publicly staking her claims, but Julia says she isn’t trying to go viral and genuinely believes she is the McCann’s missing daughter.
In a post, Julia said: “Thank you for the support that you give me and for haters I have to say that I am not kidding and I truly believe that I can be her.
“I didn’t take money from anyone and I am not going to do this because police should do a DNA test on me and compare it with Kate and Gerry McCann's DNA.”
