A sick video shows how a teenager was allegedly stabbed repeatedly in Dublin during an ongoing gang war.
The young man, said to be only between 17 and 19-years-old, was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda on Wednesday night after the horrific incident on one of Balbriggan's busiest streets, Dublin Live reports.
Disturbingly, the exact moment when the teenager was allegedly slashed by opposing gang members was caught on camera in a two-minute video.
In the clip, several of the teens go toe-to-toe, swinging wooden bats.
One of the gang members jumps towards another lad, allegedly brandishing a knife and using it repeatedly.
The person filming the shocking attack can be heard saying "he's been stabbed boys" as the victim crumples to the ground and lies motionless.
Immediately after the suspected stabbing occurs, one youth celebrates in front of the camera by letting out a huge roar as he skips away from the scene.
The two groups – who have been causing havoc in Balbriggan for weeks now – went to blows again on Hamlet Lane on Wednesday but this time, the threats stopped and there was actual bloodshed.
Both sets of vicious fighters, whose groups contain more than 20 teenagers each, came to the brawl armed with weapons.
Most of the thugs brought bats to the organised meet-up but horrifically, one of the teens is said to have brought a knife with him which he is alleged to have used several times on an opposition member.
A Gardai spokesman told Dublin Live: "We are investigating an assault that occurred at approximately 9pm in Balbriggan last night, Wednesday 19th August.
"A man in his late teens was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Drogheda with what were believed to be stab wounds and is recovering from the non-life-threatening injuries."
Daily Star Online has approached Gardai for comment.
