Harry and Meghan heartbreak at Philips death and Oprah drama to feature in book

Prince HarryandMeghan Markle’s heartbreak over Prince Philip’s death will feature in an updated version of Finding Freedom.

The bombshell biography, written by journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, was originally released in August last year.

It has since been updated with a new chapter, which will also touch on Meghan’s “emotional healing journey from losing a child to the birth of their daughter”.

HarperCollins promised details on the following: “Behind the scenes of Harry and Meghan’s ground breaking interview with Oprah, details behind the couple’s move to California (and) the various philanthropic and business endeavours the Sussexes have been involved with since their move and what’s to come with Archewell Productions.”

It will also include "the continuous challenges the couple face regarding privacy and the British press (and) the heartbreak the couple felt over Prince Philip’s death.”

The update will go on sale on August 31, the date Princess Diana died in a car crash in 1997.

During the Oprah interview, the couple sent shockwaves through the Royal Family as they made a series of dramatic allegations.

At one point, Harry and Meghan claimed a senior royal had expressed concern about the colour of Archie’s skin.

Meghan also said she had been refused help after revealing she had been suffering from suicidal thoughts.

The Finding Freedom update comes just days after Harry announced he had been working on a new book.

The Duke of Sussex has teamed up with Putlizer Prize-winning writer JR Moehringer, with the memoir set to be released in late 2022.

It is expected to cover his life from childhood to the present day, with seniorroyalssaid to be “concerned”.

Harry struck a deal with Penguin Random House which covers four publications,Page Sixreported.

He and Meghan will reportedly produce another book focusing on “leadership and philanthropy”.

A source said: “With such a steady drumbeat of all the Harry announcements, you have to imagine that the Meghan dial is going to be dialed up.

"One can only think that she would absolutely write a memoir — she has been outspoken to those who know her about her political aspirations in the future."

They reportedly feel his recent criticisms were “bad enough” already.
