Horror property that looks like Resident Evil horrifies house hunters

A horror property has hit the market and shocked house hunters who have said the property looks like a level in the popular videogame series, Resident Evil.

Twitter users were mortified by the state of the three-bedroom property in Lancashire, where black marks covered the home and counter tops of the kitchen.

A thin drape over the singular living room window, which also contained black marks on the floor and furniture askew, left more than a few social media users a little unsettled.

Smashed windows, leaflets for Domino's on the floor and an unsettling wheelchair abandoned in the middle of the kitchen led some to believe this property was horror-movie material.

One Twitter user left stunned by the state of the property wrote: "When estate agents make horror movies" and subsequently shared a link to the home.

The property, which is currently on the market for £40,000, may make for quite the nice family home, if it weren't covered in what might be burn marks.

Another social media user gave an accurate description of the home, writing: "Legit looks like the VR version of Resident Evil 7".

But why bother with VR when one homeowner could live the real experience?

For those brave enough to view this listing and scroll through the many interior photos provided, the property also appears to include a lack of ceiling and a pile of clothes.

But one Twitter user was a tad more optimistic, writing that all the house needs is a "lick of paint".

Wise words followed from another person, who wrote: "Don't lick anything in there."

A very brief brochure entry gives limited detail on the property, whose price starts at £40,000 and would be ideal for, as one Twitter user wrote: "people with imagination and love DIY."

The brochure entry from Pattison Estate Agents reads: "We are pleased to bring to the market this three-bedroom end of terrace house. This property would be an ideal investment opportunity and has loads of potential.

"The property briefly comprises of a kitchen/diner, living room, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a yard to the rear."

  • Mum, 31, took own life after being terrified of losing her kids in divorce battle

One user provided a not-so-kind comparison of the Lancashire-based property to that of the one found in The Amityville Horror.

They wrote that they could already picture "Rob Steiger running from the building pursued by flies."

From the state of the property, it would appear that it has a "great potential for DIY enthusiast", but not much else.
