Men in low-skilled jobs or caring, leisure and other service roles had the highest Covid death rate in England and Wales, new figures show.
The Office for National Statistics said 7,961 coronavirus-related deaths were registered from March to December last year.
Of which, nearly two-thirds were among men who worked in low-skilled jobs with 5,128 fatalities.
New data published by ONS on Monday said when looking at broad groups of occupations, men who working in lower skilled jobs, caring, leisure or other service occupations, had the highest rates of death.
