Russia's despotic President Vladimir Putin has seemingly declared nuclear war on Europe – but this shouldn't be surprising news.
While Putin has frequently made vailed threats about using nukes, legendary astrologer Nostradamus actually predicted war in Europe in 2022 as part of his sobering prophecies made many centuries ago.
Michel de Nostradame, as he was known at the time, published his infamous book Les Prophéties back in 1555 featuring 942 forecasts.

He predicted the Great Fire of London, the coming of Adolf Hitler, the John F Kennedy assassination and as Russia ruffles feathers in the west, it is notable that the astrologer also predicted an upcoming war sometime this year.
A recurring theme throughout Nostadamus’ predictions is the invasion of France by a threat from the east.
However, the following prediction is speculated to be referring to the spring of 2022: “Blue-head shall white-head harm in such degree, as France’s good to both shall e’er amount.”
Much like all of Nostradamus’ predictions, this one is rather vague, but it could be alluding to the breakout of World War 3.

However, it's possible that this specific prediction might not prove true – we hope – as world-renowned defence expert Anthony Glees ridiculed the claims.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star just hours after the speech from Putin yesterday (September 21) the University of Buckingham professor said: “It's just threats, threats, threats.
“Putin is a KGB man and making threats was the KGB's stock in trade – they were past masters at it.
“He can't carry out a nuclear attack in the area as you don’t send your soldiers into radioactive territory.
Vladimir Putin's guru says 'nuclear apocalypse likely' following Russia's mobilisation
“Chernobyl is just down the road and lives on in people’s memories.
“Putin's soldiers are being routed as it is, which is why he's increased penalties for desertion
“His lame threats are an admission he’s losing, and his threat of nuclear weapons is ridiculous as a radioactive wind will destroy the very thing he claims to want – Russians get this.”
Professor Glees also explained that the actions taken by NATO and some European countries, which is mainly to provide money and defensive weapons – as well as sanctions towards Russian oligarchs – is the “right thing”.
