Prince William has insisted the royals are “very much not a racist family” as he responds to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting School 21 in east London on Thursday, March 11, when he made the comments.

William confirmed he had not spoken to his brother since the interview.

In it, the Duke of Sussex claimed that William and dad Prince Charles were still "trapped" within the Royal Family.

His wife also claimed that a royal had expressed concerns about how dark Archie's skin would be.

William today told Sky News: "We are very much not a racist family."
