A 19-year-old TikTok star was reportedly shot dead in Delaware on Monday, according to his close friend.
Fans have paid tribute to the dancer, Swavy known locally as Matima Miller, after his close friend Damaury Mikula confirmed that he died in a YouTube video, according to HITC.
With tears streaming down his face, Mikula said: "said: "He got shot and I just want to let you all know that I’m about to take over for that n*****. All he did was make videos bro. He is real as hell.
“I literally just texted him everything on Instagram before this. Literally, probably like right before it happened. It happened this morning.”
Wilmington cops said a 19-year-old man was shot on July 5, though they have not confirmed the identity of the deceased, Delaware Online reports.
He was reportedly found with a gunshot wound and taken to hospital where he later died.
Fans have since been posting condolences on TikTok where the creator boasted over 2.3million followers.
One said: "He will always be in our hearts and in our TikTok's. Praying for his family.”
Another user wrote: “Yo this sh*t crazy I was just watching Swavy on TikTok last night and he was gone this morning that's really sad for the ppl that need him.”
A friend, known as Destiny, posted on Instagram: "I love you sm to the moon and back. I just need a hug from you one more time."
The star was known for his dancing and comedy videos and had over 98 million likes on his content.

He also had over 350,000 fans on Instagram.
Monday's shooting brings the total homicides in Wilmington this year to 16. The city has had 82 shootings so far this year.
Last year, 73 people had been shot in Wilmington, 11 fatally.
Police said the shooting remains under investigation and are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact Mackenzie Kirlin at (302) 576-3653.
