A rental van is understood to have ploughed into a crowd of people in New York City.
Police have stopped the van, however, reports claim that multiple pedestrians were hit, with one source even claiming a cyclist was dragged along the ground by the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, believed to be a U-Haul truck, is understood to have exited following the collision and fled on foot.

The incident took place near 5th Ave and Bay Ridge Parkway in the Bay Ridge neighbourhood of Brooklyn, with multiple thought to have been injured.
The truck was stopped at the entrance of the Battery Tunnel leading to Manhattan from Brooklyn.
Taking to Twitter, New York City Councilman Justin Brannan said: "A man driving a U-Haul went on a rampage in Bay Ridge.
"He was just apprehended in Sunset Park. Several people were hit and badly injured.
"We have no idea of motives at this time but this wasn't an accident."
A brief chase is thought to have taken place and some reports claim the bomb squad was called in to check possible devices inside the vehicle.

Bird's eye imaging has since emerged showing the vehicle surrounded by police vehicles at Hamilton and Columbia by the entrance to the tunnel.
At this time it is not known how many people have been hit by the van, however, early reports claim the number is at least six.
Mr Brannan added in a later tweet: "Suspect was actually arrested near the BK Battery Tunnel. We think he hit at least six people with the truck and two are in very bad shape. PLEASE pray for these folks."
The driver is believed to have been taken into custody at Sunset Park in Brooklyn after fleeing the vehicle in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Red Hook.
